24 triggers, queries, and actions
An assigned device has a low battery
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
This trigger fires every time an assigned device on your system gets a low battery.
Carbon Intensity Change
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
This trigger activates when the carbon intensity changes based on user-defined conditions, such as intensity thresholds and specific time ranges. It uses live and forecasted carbon intensity data to evaluate and validate actions.
Energy Consumed By Period
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
This trigger activates when the energy consumed during a specified period exceeds a user-defined threshold. Users can configure the period type (daily, weekly, or monthly) and set a consumption threshold.
Energy Export Periods
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
This trigger activates when new export electricity rates are published and match your selected condition — for example, the 5 lowest or highest price periods. Rates are based on data from 11:00 to 11:00 London time.
Energy Export Prices Change
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
This trigger activates when the electricity export prices change based on user-defined conditions, such as price thresholds and specific time ranges.
Energy Export Prices Published
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
This trigger activates when new electricity export prices are published. It uses the published price data for a specified period to validate and perform actions.
Energy Exported By Period
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
This trigger activates when the energy exported during a specified period exceeds a user-defined threshold. Users can configure the period type (daily, weekly, or monthly) and set an export threshold.

Energy Import Price Change With Carbon Intensity
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
Use this trigger to fire something when your electricity import price falls or rises past your set threshold and between your preferred time settings, also as optional condition you can match carbon intensity level for the periods
Energy Import Prices Index Change With Carbon Intensity

This trigger activates when new electricity import prices are published. It uses published price data for a specified period to validate and perform actions.
Zone is being heated
Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+.
The Trigger fires every time the zone heating turns on.
Energy export price published
Query
A query lets your Applet retrieve extra data that isn't included in the trigger, so that your automation can include more complete or useful information.
Retrieves the electricity price for today based on the applicable export tariffs. The response includes pricing details for the current date, considering variations in export rates throughout the day.
