Do you need to let someone add an entry to your calendar, but they don't have or know how to use Google Calendar? Put them in a Telegram group, add the IFTTT bot, and let them text the info so IFTTT can add it. Messages must start with /ifttt and have either the default emoji 😎 or the keyword/emoji you entered when you turned on the applet. For example: /ifttt Kid's dentist visit on 9/15 at 8am 😎 If they forget the emoji/keyword, IFTTT gets the text but no calendar entry is made.
