How this automation works
Control your Automate Shades automatically using a Webhook trigger. This Applet runs each time your specified Webhook event is received, moving your connected shade to a chosen position and sending a confirmation notification through the IFTTT app. Ideal for integrating custom automations or external systems with your smart shades. Note: This requires a reachable webhook endpoint (URL) and installation of the IFTTT app on your device(s) to receive notifications.

Realtime Applets run after the trigger service notifies IFTTT of a new trigger event. Since IFTTT is notified proactively of new trigger events, realtime Applets normally run within a few seconds of a trigger event occurring.
