Automate your Boundary integrations

Boundary integrates with IFTTT to enhance your smart home security, allowing users to automate actions based on alarm triggers. Easily connect with other devices to create a custom security environment that alerts or takes action when your alarm is activated or disarmed.

Create your own Boundary workflow

Create custom workflows effortlessly by selecting triggers, queries, and actions. With IFTTT, it's simple: “If this” trigger happens, “then that” action follows. Streamline tasks and save time with automated workflows that work for you.

5 triggers, queries, and actions

The alarm was triggered

This trigger fires when the alarm is triggered

The alarm was armed

Get alarm status

Query
A query lets your Applet retrieve extra data that isn't included in the trigger, so that your automation can include more complete or useful information.
This query returns the current status of the Boundary Alarm hub.

Arm the alarm

Action
An action is the task your Applet carries out after the trigger occurs. It defines what happens as the result of your automation and completes the workflow.
This action will arm the alarm.
