How this automation works
Activate your Alexa Routine simply by sending an email to IFTTT. This Applet runs whenever you send an email to trigger@applet.ifttt.com, and it presses your selected Virtual Button to start the corresponding Alexa Routine. Ideal for connecting email-based events or remote triggers with Alexa automation. Customize the message to fit your tone. Note: Install the IFTTT app on the device(s) where you want to receive notifications.
