How this automation works
Post a rendered Placid image to Discord when you activate a Google Assistant scene. When the configured Google Assistant scene runs, the Applet asks Placid to render the template you set (you can supply optional layer and output JSON at install) and then sends the generated image URL into a Discord rich message. This is useful for sharing scene-specific visuals—event banners, mood graphics, or quick status images—to your Discord channel using Google Assistant and Placid.

This Trigger activates a named scene when you say "Ok Google, activate [Scene Name]".

Polling trigger
Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. These trigger checks occur every 5 minutes for Pro and Pro+ users, and every hour for Free users.
This trigger fires when a new message is posted in a channel you select.
New pinned message in channel

This query renders one of your Placid templates with optional layer overrides and returns a URL to the generated image.

This query returns all invites to a channel.

Action
An action is the task your Applet carries out after the trigger occurs. It defines what happens as the result of your automation and completes the workflow.
This action will send a message from the IFTTT Bot to the channel you specify.
