How this automation works
Trigger instant notifications and control your smart devices when a custom Webhook event fires. When a Webhook event is received, you’ll send alerts through IFTTT and Pushover, and also turn on your selected TP-Link Kasa device. Ideal for quickly responding to critical events or automation triggers that require immediate action. Note: This requires installation of the IFTTT app, a reachable webhook endpoint, and user-linked smart devices.

Realtime Applets run after the trigger service notifies IFTTT of a new trigger event. Since IFTTT is notified proactively of new trigger events, realtime Applets normally run within a few seconds of a trigger event occurring.
