How this automation works

Activate your Alexa routine and call a web endpoint instantly with a single tap. This Applet runs when you press the Button widget in the IFTTT app, triggering your chosen Alexa Voice Monkey routine and making a web request simultaneously. Perfect for quick smart home control, automation testing, or triggering online workflows with one simple action. Note: Install the IFTTT app and add the Button widget to your home screen. This requires a reachable webhook endpoint (URL).
