How this automation works
Automatically shut off your TP-Link Kasa smart device when the temperature exceeds your chosen limit. This Applet runs whenever your Tempest Weather System detects that the temperature rises above the defined threshold, turning off your selected device and sending a Pushover notification. Perfect for maintaining safe outdoor conditions or managing temperature-sensitive equipment. Note: Install the IFTTT app on the device(s) where you want to receive notifications.
